スペイン語で「聖なる木」を意味するパロサントは、インカ帝国の時代より使用されてきました。パロサントに火をつけると立ち昇る煙と香りは「場を清め、邪悪なエネルギーを祓って精神を安定させる」と言われており、ネイティブアメリカンの間では治療薬として、シャーマンの間では清めの儀式において使用されるなど様々な方法で使用されてきました。

It is said that the smoke and scent that rises when Palo Santo is lit is "purifying the place, purifying the evil energy and stabilizing the spirit", and it is a remedy among native Americans and a cleansing among shamans. 火をつけるとバニラを連想させるクリーミーで甘い薫香を放ち、火をつけずにそのままお部屋に置いても香りをお楽しみいただけます。その香りは怒りや緊張といった感情を抑えて落ち着きとバランスをもたらすとも言われています。

[ご使用方法]

パロサントスティックの先端部にライターなどで着火させ、十分に火が回るよう30秒ほど燃やします。十分に火が回ったら火を消し、煙だけが出る状態にして立ち昇る香りをお楽しみください。香りが弱くなってきたと感じたら、表面を削れば香りが強くなります。
